Tonight's 4 Man scramble, wraps up play for the 2008 Season. I'd like to thank you all for your efforts, and understanding this year, as well as honoring your committment to play. We only had 3 no shows all season ( that is, 3 rounds where a sub wasn't arrranged for ) which was excellent.

The 4 man Scramble was won by Team Dosch, which was made up of Nate Dosch, Jim Griffen, Mike Woods, and Paul Roth. They posted an unbelieveable 8 under par. Second place was claimed by Team Nissen, which included Craig Nissen, Pat Szymik, Joe Mattson, and Kurt Barnes. They posted an equally impressive 7 under par. And here I thought our 4 under was respectable, only to see it end up as the last place score. Wow, great shooting, guys.

Here is how the entire field did in the scramble:

  -6 Brett Roth/ Mike Milhaupt / George Monese / Bret Schaefer
  -5 Troy Evers / Joe Viotto / Tim Woods / Gary Ruhle
  -4 Rick Natrop / Ken Barr / Andy Wittig / Dan Muenchow

The Team Proxies were won by Team Evers ( Closest to the pin, on number 16 ) and Team Nissen ( closest second shot on number 18 ).

We had a skins game but all of the skins cancelled each other out so we had a 5 drawings for $20 each to disburse the money.

The latest Ryder Cup update has been posted, click on the Ryder Cup logo at the top right of this page, to see our entire list of participants, and those "making the cut". Partners and matches will be selected by the Red Captain, Paul Delange, and myself, on September 8th. Check back later that evening, or on the 9th, for the results of our picks.

I'd also like to thank Luke, and the entire staff at Eagle Creek for treating us like one of their own, and for taking such good care of us this year. A vote was done a few weeks ago, and the league decided to head to Chaska for the 2009 season. We have a Waiting List started and will be updating that in the off season. Notice the link at the top of the page. The list is looking pretty good. We should be able to get back to at least 28 guys in the league for 2009. Andy will solicit for names if we need more players.
