Congrats to Craig Nissen for dropping the Longest Putt on #12, Andy Wittig for the Closest to the Pin in 2 shots on #14, and Troy Evers for the Closest to the Pin on #17.
Brian Long adds to his kid's college fund with winning the double skins this week. We didn't have a winner last week, so it was carried over to this week. The Low Gross cancelled out, so no payouts there, but Pat Szymik won Low Net with 32.
Do you think #16 was playing tough last night with the wind and pin placement? How about no pars on that hole. That must be a first.
The first no-show of the entire season was tonight. Good job up until now on getting subs lined up for the matches. I also had a request from 2 groups that wanted me to mention to the league that if you see a ball down and it's not your group's, consider leaving it because it could be someone else's in the league.
The 4th Annual Ryder Cup against the The SodBusters is scheduled and confirmed for Saturday 9/12 at Wander Springs in Greenleaf. The 1st teetime is 8:00AM and as in the past, we'll play 27 holes of different formats for each of the nines. Rick Natrop reserved room for 28 guys to participate in the competition (14 per team, up from 10 last year) with one group available for others not in the matches, but still wanting to play that day. You'll notice a new icon at the top of our page. Check back as updates are made. Email Andy and Rick to let them know if you're interested in playing. Even if you don't know for sure, a "maybe" is better than no answer.
