Tonight finalizes our 2010 BTWB's season. We ended our season with a 4 man scramble event. 3 Teams ended with 6 under, so we needed to do the playoff based on the lowest handicap holes. The Birdie on #2 made the difference for Team Viotto Jr. , who won 1st place. The birdies on #3 and #7 sealed in 2nd place for Team Evers. We had our banquet at Route 15 and enjoyed some sandwiches and wraps... along with some brews and cocktails.

Thank you all for your commitment and participation in our league this year. Of the 476 rounds on the schedule, we had only four no-shows. In every other case subs were arranged and the matches were played. The following players golfed every week, so thanks for showing up the entire season.

We have great news to report from this past weekend's inter-league mini Ryder Cup organized by Chaska. Brian Long / Matt Spang edged out the other teams by shooting an even par in the event. The 1st 3 holes were a scramble format, the next 3 were best ball, and the last 3 were alternate shot. Matt and Brian earned us a 1/4 barrel for consumption one night in the 2011 season. Also participating were: Brett Roth / Troy Evers and Ken Barr / Andy Wittig Say thanks to all of these fellas for representing the BTWB's, and especially Matt and Brian for making us proud and earning some malt beverages for the crew! First thought is we'll consume it the week we do the 2nd annual "Pink Lady" event... date TBD.
