Nice Ace by Jim Griffen on # 8 tonight!! The hole was playing 173 yards; Jim hit a perfect 5 iron and played the cross winds. It landed about 25 feet from the cup, bounced a few times then tracked right into the cup. Thanks for all the beverages, Jim! Congrats to Brett Roth for taking the Long Drive on #2, dead into headwinds. Joe Viotto took the Long Putt on #5. No payouts for Low Gross or Low Net tonight since all cancelled each other out. Question of the Day #1: What if I hit the wrong ball? Answer: Add 2 strokes to your score, and mark it on the card as to what happened. Even though USGA would say you automatically lose the hole, in our league, we add 2 strokes, which could/may not cause you to lose the hole, depending on what you both shot on the hole.
